Over the years trees may have grown into the path of the AirSpeed signal, this will be more apparent in summer months when leaves fill the grown trees.

Besides trees, other things may have started interfering with the path such as new homes, home additions or renovations and even motor homes parked in the path (it’s happened…).

If you feel this could be the problem just give us a call and we will schedule a site visit to have a look and try to resolve the issue.

If your noticing Intermittent Internet service, first check to see if anyone is using a cordless phone in the house, the interference will only occur when someone is actually on the phone.

Some ways to solve this issue is to change the channel the phone transmits on. Channel options can usually be found either on the handset or somewhere on the handset cradle. Play with different channels until you find the one that works best with your Internet connection. If buying a new cordless phone we recommend either a 900Mhz or 5.8Ghz phones. 2.4Ghz cordless phones operate in the Airspeed Frequency.
